Bricco Battistina Gavi
Bricco Battistina Gavi - Aromas of citrus and stone fruit with light oaky notes. The palate has ripe harvest fruits and fresh balancing acidity to give a complex and textural wine with perfectly integrated oak.
The first Bricco Battistina Gavi was produced at the La Battistina esate 15 years ago. Now winemaker Carlo Manera (son of Claudio and Lella) has breathed new life into this wine. Using a selection of the estates best grapes and oldest vines Carlo barrel ferments part of this wine to produce a rich and complex style with great ageing potential where the oak is not overstated, but complements the elegant fruit character.
