The Pinot Noir Mixed Case
The Pinot Noir Lovers Mixed Case - Pinot noir is arguably the most charismatic of all grape varieties, and without doubt the the toughest grape to grow, but the effort is often well worth the constant care and investment. Pinot Noir as a grape is much more delicate than cabernet sauvignon and can produce luscious red wine that are juicy and delicious. Here are six of our biggest sellers coming from all corners of the globe.
This six bottle case contains one bottle of each of the following six wines:
1 x Domaine Roblin Sancerre Rouge Terres Blanches, Loire Valley France - A fresh, bright and charming expression of Loire Pinot Noir. Warm, red berry fruit characterises this fresh Pinot Noir. Ripe tannins are balanced by fresh acidity and subtle oak on the finish.
1 x Gerard Bertrand Naturalys Pinot Noir, France - Gerard Bertrand Naturalys Pinot Noir is an elegant and velvety smooth wine, with intense fruity aromas of ripe cherry and wild raspberry, complemented by spicy nuances. Beautifully balanced, with fine tannins enveloping the pure fruit flavours through to a silky finish.
1 x Catalina Sounds Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand - Deep garnet red. An enticing mix of red and dark berry fruits, spice and underlying savoury notes. Approachable, generous and flavoursome with a silken elegance. Berry fruits come to the fore with gentle dried herb notes in the background. Medium bodied, the palate is finely structured with lovely soft lingering tannins which integrate perfectly with the soft supportive acid and plush fruit.
1 x Shadow Point Central Coast Pinot Noir, USA - Shadow Point Central Coast Pinot Noir combines delicious red cherry and dried cranberry concentration, with a touch of dark spice. The palate has wild bramble and cherry pie notes. It finishes bright, fresh and gently toasty. From vineyards in Monterey, California’s Central Coast region and sit next to a chain of hills which separate the vineyards from the Pacific coast. The name Shadow Point relates to the shadows which form over the vineyard as the setting sun falls in the west, behind the neighbouring hills.
1 x Bottega Vinai Trentino Pinot Nero, Italy - Delicate aromas of redcurrants and cherry mingle with spicy, savoury, gently toasty notes. Light and fresh palate with soft tannins, balanced acidity and a juicy red fruit finish. The Pinot Nero grape, originally from Burgundy, is particularly suited to Trentinos cool and hilly sites.
1 x Jealousy Pinot Noir, Pays d'Oc France - Wild cherries and strawberry on the nose that is followed by a full, earthy palate.
