The Argentine wine industry is now the fifth largest in the world due in recent years to a massive expansion in vineyard area and large scale investment in modern winemaking techniques, that said Argentina's wine revolution is only just beginning.
This country is truly a winemaker's paradise. The star red grape is the truly sumptuous Malbec with its full-bodied, juicy, black-fruit flavours. To me, it's the perfect food-friendly wine; all the Malbecs below are frequent visitors to my dinner table!
