Sierra Grande Merlot - A young fruity wine offering juicy Merlot flavours, ideal for entertaining. Ripe plum and berry fruit aromas. Warm and supple on the palate with rich fruit and soft tannins. The wine has a silky texture with juicy upfront fruit. Sierra Grade have managed to keep prices low and their quality high. This Merlot comes from high mountain vineyards, in the foothills of the Andes above Curico. The Merlot is rich and round with real depth of flavour. Grapes are harvested during the coolest part of the day to ensure they reach the winery in prime condition. Temperatures are kept fairly low throughout the winemaking process, to allow the grapes to express their natural fruit characters. |
