Coste del Molino Verdicchio - A stylish and concentrated Verdicchio with quite full, intense aromas of grapefruit, pineapple and lime and a fresh, dry palate, full of citrus fruit right through to its attractive savoury finish. Monte Schiavo is a modern and dynamic company with 115 hectares in the heart of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi country. Made from 100% Verdicchio grapes cultivated in Monte Schiavo's 'Coste del Molino' vineyards in the commune of Poggio S. Marcello. The vineyard has sandy soil and is at an altitude of 210 metres above sea level. The vines are trained on simple, inverted arches. The grapes are hand harvested in several stages, usually during the first 10 days of October. Great with seafood or rice with vegetables. |
