False Bay Shiraz - A truly hand-crafted full-bodied Shiraz. A really elegant wine packed with rich, juicy fruit aromas, hints of cracked black pepper giving way to a black cherry and spicy flavour on the palate. This wine has fine tannins with a long rich, ripe finish. False Bay utilises some of the finest fruit South Africa has to offer. These Shiraz grapes are sourced from suitably gnarly old plots in the wine region of Paarl giving rich, concentrated but beautifully balanced wines, brought together under the watchful care and attention of Waterkloof's award winning winemaker Werner Engelbrecht. |
