Barolo Bussia, Dardi Le Rose - This wine shows great depth and complexity. The grapes come from the most illustrious vineyards of Bussia, reputed to be one of Barolo's greatest crus since times immemorial. Nebbiolo at its best. Typically light mahogany colour with an orange rim. Elegant and complex nose showing rich, sweet red fruit, tobacco, dried cherries and layers of woody, spicy fruit. The palate is elegant and refined revealing layers of ripe red fruit and well-integrated tannins. Drink now till 2020. Match with roast lamb, mature cheeses, red meat dishes or try with mushroom risotto. |
