Finca Decero Malbec - The Decero Malbec has a deep ruby colour, intense violet aromas and a palate of raspberry and red fruit flavours, with a kick of white pepper typical of the Remolinos vineyard. This is a very robust full-bodied wine, with a finish.
What was once a bare patch of soil in the foothills of the Andes has been transformed into a remarkable single-vineyard site. Decero, meaning ‘from scratch' consists of one hundred hectares of newly planted vineyard as recently as 2000.
Finca Decero in the Agrelo region of Mendoza, is one of Argentina's rising stars and makes only single vineyard wines. This boutique winery only produce their fabulous wine in very small quanities, this excellent vintage from the Remolinos vineyard was just 6000 cases.
This wine has spent 16 months in a mixture of new and old French oak.
