Conviviale Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - This delightfully fruity, full-flavoured red has an intense nose of cherry, plum and earthy spice. The palate is packed with cherry, cassis and bramble fruit flavours. This wine will develop further over the next 12 to 18 months. Produced from selected parcels of Montepulciano grapes, from low yielding 30 to 50 year old vines in the Chieti province of Abruzzo. It was matured in a combination of large Slavonian oak casks and French oak barriques for 6-8 months. |
