Marktree Semillon Sauvignon Blanc - Australia makes some delicious crisp and fresh wines and this is one of them! Delicate floral aromas and rich fruit expression. The base for this wine is some fantastic Semillon, medium bodied with a balanced, long, elegant finish. Long standing relationships with growers in the warm region of Griffith (NSW) allow Marktree to source premium fruit and make good quality Australian wines with true style and character. The Griffith region is best known for Semillon production, creating generous wines with soft tropical fruit characters and great appeal. The old vine fruit used in Marktree is between 20-30 years old. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel retains the fresh fruit character of the wines. Delicious as an apéritif or serve with roast chicken or pasta salads. |
