Chianti Colli Senesi Tenuta Torre Terza - Single vineyard Chianti from the Baroncini Torre Terza estate just outside the town of San Gimignano in Tuscany. Chianti Classico quality at the price of an entry-level Sangiovese-based red. 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, it serves up layers of ripe plumy fruit while retaining the bright acidity and slightly earthy, spicy quality that makes Chianti so versatile with food. Bottled young after two months in wood. This really is an easy-going and food-friendly wine. |
