Siete Soles Estate Cabernet Sauvignon - Nose of blackcurrant and plums balanced with toasted coffee flavours. Soft and concentrated with red fruit notes and a long aftertaste. The producers name Siete Soles was inspired by the legend of the seven suns (siete soles) depicted on the rocks of an ancient Inca site close to the winery. The vineyards are situated in the Central Valley, where the climate is strongly influenced by the nearby Pacific Ocean and the Andes mountain range. Soils are a mixture of clay, loamy limestone and sand. All the grapes were harvested by hand. Twenty percent of the wine was aged for two months in French oak. |
