Ge Emiliana - Emiliana's very top wine and is regarded quite rightly as one of Chile's finest. A voluptuously ripe and seductive wine. The nose offers elegance and a nice balance of ripe black fruit with a delicate touch of truffle and spice. On the palate there's plenty of rich ripe fruit with soft, velvety tannins providing elegant structure and complexity. Amazing stuff.. This wine was aged in new French oak barrels for 15 months and then rested another 18 months in the bottle before its release. It was neither fined nor filtered. Such a hearty wine deserves a hearty meal to match...perfect with rich, meaty casseroles, game sausages or strong cheeses. |
