Masi Tupungato, Passo Doble - One of the most original winemaking projects of recent years, Masi Tupungato is a fusion of Venetian technique and Argentine terroir. The Malbec grape has been re-fermented with light-dried Corvina, enhancing its depth and savouriness while maintaining balancing acidity. The experiment has been a sure-fired success! Fragrant and complex on the nose with ripe red fruit aromas. Up-front and powerful on the palate with hints of spice, ripe plums and cooked cherries. A lovely long finish with tinges of sweet liquorice. |
