La Battistina, situated in the northwest region of Piedmonte, is a 20 hectare estate situated around the town of Gavi. The vineyards are south facing and the soil, both chalky and mineral, allow full ripening of the fabulous Cortese grape. Renowned as among the best sites in Gavi. The resulting wine is a real joy. An aromatic, zesty, nose with citrus, lime and pineapple, and a hint of minerality. Juicy, weighty fruit with an immensely long finish. The perfect partner to your favourite dishes.
